Hunter Labrada won the Chicago Pro last year, but he will not defend his title this weekend because he earned his Olympia qualifying with a fourth-place finish at the 2021 Mr. Olympia contest last year, which means a new winner will be chosen at this event.

Andrea Muzi, a bodybuilder, is anticipated to push Vaillant on stage. In May, he finished fourth at the 2022 California State Pro, which was won by champion Charles Griffen. Then finished fourth at the 2022 Puerto Rico Pro, which was won by Hassan Mostafa.
